Nix Gerson is the CEO and co-founder of Nix|Gerson Media and the host and producer of the Venture:F Podcast.  

She is a business development strategist, growth advisor, writer, and producer with 20+ years of experience. She has led both agency and corporate environments, where her extensive background in marketing strategy, lead generation, key constituent engagement, and communications have been the cornerstone of her expertise. Laura has a knack for seeing the opportunities in specific introductions and is known for creating strategic partnerships that garner results.

A community builder and producer, Laura knows how to get the right people in the room and keep them engaged. In her previous role as VP Partnerships & Director for Women & Worth at Worth Media Group, she produced the virtual Leading Voices Series and the Annual Women & Worth Summit featuring such luminaries as Stacey Abrams, Valerie Jarrett, Jenny Just, and Sallie Krawcheck. As a contributor to Worth Magazine, she writes about female founders, finance, and investing in women.  

As a producer, Laura has developed content and booked more than 200 women speakers and panelists, all experts in their field, for events and series including The Riveter Stories, United State of Women Summit, SoCal Wellness Annual Summit, and The MomFair. 

Throughout her career, Laura has advised start-ups and entrepreneurs on business growth strategies. An advocate for female founders, she launched FOUNDED, a curated community focused on strategic introductions, to help founders grow and scale their businesses. 

Prior to this, Laura launched MomAngeles, sharing life and motherhood in the city of Los Angeles with thousands of readers. For more than a decade hers was a go-to source for what to do and where to go in LA, working with brands in the parenting and women's health & wellness space. She became part of an influential group of women who, like her, loved being a mother and loved being an entrepreneur. She became part of a vast inner circle of fascinating women, and made friends with women she would never have met without her blog. This was a formative time in her career that she credits with a deeper appreciation for the ability of women to innovate, launching businesses that solve challenges women and moms deal with every day.
